My Project

Hello! My name is Mr. Ronald Ditchek, and I am developing a music program at my school. These past few days, I have seen students come into the classroom excited to learn, and eager to learn a musical instrument. The only problem: funds to make their musical dreams a reality. On the first day, I promised these students a fantastic music education at SEED, and your donation will motivate these students musically, academically, and personally.

Students at SEEDHMS come from diverse backgrounds regarding race, SES, etc.

Many of them have never touched a musical instrument before the first day of school this past year. Students have expressed how they see playing musical instruments (like guitars) as a musical outlet, a new endeavor in their academic careers, and a source of motivation. Your donation not only inspires students, but also begins their musical journeys on a high note. As a matter of fact, you do not know where these students can take their talents from just learning guitar.

Currently, we have 7 guitars, but not every student can play because class sizes are more than that. Therefore, as an effort to provide every student the opportunity to play, I am raising over $1000. It may be a lot, but the joy a guitar curriculum can provide to students is priceless. Students not only learn a musical instrument, but also songwriting, community-building, and what music can do for them. Your donation will allow this unit and program to grow and prosper for years.
