My teaching is based on building a solid foundation in phonics for every student by using research-based methods. I teach phonics for up to 45 minutes daily! Teaching new students to not only recognize phonemes but be able to use them to decode and encode is my goal. Secret Stories is a multisensory, whole-brain approach to teaching phonics.
Secret Stories aligns with the brain’s systems for learning by appealing to as many senses as possible through stories, visuals, movement, sounds, experiences, and feelings.
