My Students

I teach in a growing school district full of children from all over the world! Our school district is comprised of over 16,000 children who speak more than 60 different languages. Approximately 700 of those children attend my school, and their different backgrounds make up a great learning environment.

Our school is diverse, constantly growing, and full of eager-to-learn children with so much to offer!

The students that come to me every day are silly, smart and curious about the world around them. They take pride in everything they do and there is nothing quite like experiencing the world through their eyes.

My Project

Raz-Plus is an amazing resource for our students! It provides them leveled, engaging books to listen to, read, and work on their comprehension. I particularly love the level of engagement that my students always seem to have. If you walk into my classroom, you can see the kids reading books, listening to stories, and taking quizzes about what they are reading.

My hope is that all of my students will continue to develop a love of reading books and interacting with texts.

This resource is perfect to encourage that! I find that the students are motivated and they love spending time on this resource. Underneath all of that, they are working on their independent reading skills. I know they would love the opportunity to use this program this year!
