Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

With your help, I can create a safe and welcoming environment for my primary-elementary students to build problem-solving, critical thinking, and creativity skills. These materials can be used in STEAM projects or just as an opportunity to play with peers. Through building, experimenting, and playing, our students will be able to see real-world applications of these skills, as well as math, science, and reading.

Standard board games like, "Thin Ice" and "Candyland," helps students learn how to play with peers face-to-face, work through team work and opponent struggles, and focus on building relationships.

Hands-on activities like, Legos and Play-doh develop a sense of creativity while aiding gross and fine motor skills.

I cannot wait to see my students use these materials as they mature through the year.
