My Project

My students are the most determined, dedicated, hard working, exceptional group of second graders! Their love for reading and hunger for knowledge goes unmatched!

The class set (20) of Merriam-Webster's First Dictionary will be an asset to our classroom due to the fact that understanding vocabulary and locating words in a dictionary, is a K-5 ELA Missouri Learning Standard: Grade-Level Expectation.

Our class would greatly benefit in having enough dictionaries for each student to have their own, to aide in the mastering of dictionary skills and to help with classroom assignments, where this particular skill is needed for successful completion.
