My Project

Our classroom is in need of better seating options in which the students can work and read. Decodable readers are essential in developing and practicing reading because as the saying goes "First you learn to read, then you read to learn."

High quality texts inspire students to read!

having a variety of books at different levels can make the biggest difference in a student's willingness to put effort into reading.

Having easily movable seating allows students to work together, as reading buddies. The natural wood of the chairs I have selected will bring a calm energy into our classroom environment.
