My Project

Most students want to tip in their chairs or rock. To help keep them safe and to help with movement flexible seating is a great alternative. Studies show that allowing movement in the classroom increases learning.

My class has a wide range of learning abilities and many of my students need the extra sensory ability that many of these alternative seating options provide.

I would like to see the movement decrease as more students choose to stay seated at their desks.

Also being a language arts teacher I would like to offer my students more options where they can read around the room.
