My Students

I teach a 3rd grade ICT class that includes general and special education children who are very eager to learn. They are very inquisitive, full of laughs, and just genuinely curious. This will be their first time back in school with each other and due to the pandemic, they need to keep their things within their personal space.

My Project

My classroom has triangular desks with no nook for students to place their books and other belongings. Due to the pandemic, and elementary school children not being able to be vaccinated, it would be preferred to have their things close to each individual student and not together with other students' books.

Seat sacs would be perfect to keep student supplies close by.

We only have 1 math book and ELA booklets to give them. They can also keep their pencil boxes with necessary supplies (like pencils, scissors, glue stick, etc.) in the sac.

Lastly, having seat sacs eliminates creating spaces to hold the books, which in turn, gives more room around the classroom for other things. With 28 students, I will need all of the available space that I can get.
