Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We love our tables for group learning. But tables have nowhere to store our basic school supplies.

We are a second grade class eager to learn!

We are an inner city public school with a high poverty population. This is our third year since the school was opened. We are part of a growing learning community. We hope to start our school year off with the resources we need for learning.

My Project

Seat sacks are easy convenient ways for my students to organize their books, folders and school supplies. With small classrooms and large number of students space is of value. Our classrooms have tables to facilitate group learning, but they provide no space to store supplies. These seat sacks provide the necessary space to store supplies without taking up too much space in our classroom.

This project is so important to give each of my students their own space.

The seat sacks will help my students build their organizational skills and take responsibility for their belongings. Please help support our classroom!
