My Students

Our NYC public school serves a wide range of students in grades K-5. We offer students a supportive learning environment, rigorous instruction, and dedicated teachers. Our students come from a variety of ethnic, socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds.

My students come to school with a wide range of academic needs and I make sure that each child is given the opportunities and resources to succeed.

As a kindergarten teacher, my classroom is many of my students' first impressions of school, and therefore it's imperative that they are provided with opportunities to help guide their love of learning and school. With your help we can continue to provide the with the best materials and resources to help them fully develop academically, socially, and emotionally.

My Project

The seat sacks and other organizational bins will help my students develop their independence, organization skills, and self-confidence.

The students will be able to keep track of all their folders and class work.

This will help each child develop life skills because he/she will be responsible for his/her class work.

These items will help make the classroom environment more structured and therefore provide the students with routine and support. For a kindergarten classroom, it is imperative to provide students with a structured and well-organized classroom so they can develop routines and know their expectations. These items will successfully provide a positive learning environment for my students.
