I love this group of first graders, but they are very different than any first grade I have had. My friends love building, drawing, creating, and moving. We really like being in charge of other people’s lives, we’re bossy, and we struggle to share. It has been a fun year but exhausting at times.
Despite that, my students are creating their own path to a successful future.
My diverse class of students loves to explore our classroom each and every day! They have the potential to be anything! Every day, I am amazed at just how innovative and creative they are.
My Project
In first grade, we are learning about organization and how to keep our spaces clean. My students have limited space to store their own supplies. These seat sacks will help them keep their materials on the back of their chairs!
These seat sacks will help them with their organizational skills, which is needed as they get older.
Students in the early grades are learning organizational
skills, and seat sacks help them to manage their belongings neatly.
To better meet the various needs of my students, I can place differentiated work in their own seat sacks to encourage the learning of my students at all levels.
These seat sacks will encourage independence and teach many organizational skills.
