Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

When you enter my classroom this year, you will find a group of students who are welcoming, fun, energetic, and caring. You will also find a group of students who are incredibly eager to learn. Each one of them have enormous potential and are enthusiastic about what this school year has in store for them.

With a lot of hard work this year, my students will become readers, writers, mathematicians and much, much, more.

My Project

Within our classroom, our students learn best in small groups where they can receive the most attention possible. Therefore, center based learning is the main approach employed. With center based learning comes a variety of materials (i.e. phonics books, headphones, book baggies, math games, and more) that students need to have easily accessible as they move from one center to the other. We currently have materials all over the classroom in a variety of bins and drawers. Students spend a lot of time searching for their belongings, which takes away from the time they could be learning.

Having seat sacks with all their materials in one place would help my students be more organized, as well as our classroom.
