My Students

I teach second grade in an awesome school district. My students have varied levels of learning. Our classroom has a very inviting atmosphere where all students can learn in their own way! We are a Title I school with the majority of our students receiving a free or reduced-price lunch.

Each student is unique and special in their own way, and I am amazed by their positive attitudes toward learning!

They are very kind to their classmates, loving to their teacher, and respectful to everyone they meet.

My Project

I am preparing the classroom for my students and establishing new safety measures due to COVID-19. Last year my students sat in groups and shared a caddy of supplies. This year, I will not be able to use the caddy for supplies due to COVID-19. I want to use seat sacks for their supplies, books, and personal chromebooks. This will help to prevent the spread of germs/coronavirus.

Students will value a well organized and safe place for their supplies and materials.

The seat sacks will be on the back of their chair where they can easily access their belongings. They will also reduce the amount of time it takes to pass out supplies, collect them, and disinfect them. Therefore, it will increase instructional time.
