My Students

"A grape bunch!" What a fitting description of my students! Having taught them this last year in the fourth grade, I am delighted to have them back again for their final year in elementary school. My students are defined by the effort they give each and every day.

This past year they have shown their willingness and determination to overcome challenges borne of their disabilities, to achieve wonderful academic success.

I could not be prouder of their results.

One of the things that is most admirable about my students is their generosity, their willingness to share and help one another. I have seen them carrying one another's bags, sharing their lunches, encouraging one another when the work gets more intense and engaging in great peer activities. Their passion for learning positively impacts mine for teaching. Nothing makes me happier than to see my "grape bunch" enthusiastic about learning.

My Project

Desks without pockets create classroom disruptions. My class has 12 beautiful desks for easy group work and activities, but alas, there is no place for storage of items. My students need a place to store their supplies to eliminate constant and unnecessary movement to the closets. They need pockets to eliminate clutter. Seat sacks are great at solving this simple problem.

Students really adore flexible balls and so do teachers!

These balls can be used when work is completed, as positive rewards, or simply during game time and Family Fun Fridays. Please assist us in getting these much needed supplies.
