My Project

This year, our school was invited to participate in our district's elementary school basketball league. We have never played in a competitive sports activity before but are ready to grow through experiential learning.

Size 6 basketballs are just what we need to train like the other teams in our league.

In physical education class, we use smaller balls. This is great for developing ball control and exploring movement on the court, but we need to get used to working with the balls that will be used during our league games. We also need some bags to store these balls and carry them to practice and games. Having equipment that is the right size helps to level the playing field and creates equitable opportunities for gender and racial equity and justice.
