My Project

This class set of umbrellas will make a significant impact on our students' daily experience and overall learning. Our students transition across campus multiple times a day, moving from one end of campus to the other as they transition from their homerooms to the STEM lab and other facilities. Whether it's a sudden downpour or a day of intense sunshine, these umbrellas will provide essential protection for our keiki.

On stormy days, these umbrellas will keep students dry, preventing them from sitting through classes in wet clothes, which can be uncomfortable and distracting.

Staying dry will help them focus on their lessons instead of worrying about being cold or soggy. On sunny days, the umbrellas will serve as portable shade, protecting students from the harsh rays of the sun. This will be particularly useful during outdoor activities, recess, or when moving between buildings during peak sun hours. By staying cool and shielded, students can avoid the discomfort of overheating and maintain their energy levels throughout the day.
