My Project

My high school students are served at a separate school for students with moderate-severe special needs. They practice communication skills, following schedules/directions, and working toward employability goals. Seagull Coffee Cart gives my class opportunities to purposefully use what they have been learning in meaningful ways.

The donations to this project will help students gain a sense of independence and community within their school.

We will use these materials to provide coffee for school staff on a weekly basis. Students will be responsible for sorting/preparing materials, delivering coffee, collecting money, and cleaning their work space.
