Help me give my students to work on gross motor skills, work on collaborative group play, and to change their reference point while engaging their muscles, challenge their motor planning skills, and challenge their coordination.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I am the Pre-K physical therapist for a NYC public school. We have 4 regular pre-k classrooms and one special education class. I mostly work with the special education population (limited verbal expression with gross motor delays) however I plan on sharing the requested items with all the pre-k students at the school. These items are also durable and will last many years to come.
My Project
These scooter boards will give the children the opportunity to play in a group setting and it will challenge their strength, endurance, coordination, social skills, and motor planning skills. By changing their frame of reference, speed, and mechanism of locomotion, they will expand their movement repertoire, planning skills, and resilience. These scooters will last for many years to come and will benefit multiple classes across multiple years. They will be used for physical therapy sessions, occupational therapy sessions, and the general education students will also have access to them. Thank you in advance!
