This project will support a Kindergarten class that is located in a school with an open wall concept that is limited in space. I have 24 students with various needs, supports and developmental skills. I strive to create and environment that is calming, welcoming, and accessible to all students who enter. These scoop chairs will be a vital in supporting students physical needs during collaboration and adding to our learning environment. The Scoop chairs will allow for movement around the classroom tables during collaboration and work time. Students will be able to have a more open and flexiable options when working in small groups, whole group, and team and group activities. With limited space, these chairs will allow learning to happen not just at our tables but in any space around our classroom! This freedom will make learning more readily accessible to each student in my classroom.
