My Project

The students at my school are sweet, kind, and eager to learn. I currently teach reading intervention for kindergarten through third graders, but this project will be for the two kindergarten classes at my school.

Science is a fun and fascinating way to understand the world around us.

It helps students learn to ask questions, make observations and discoveries, and develop analytical and problem-solving skills. Getting the students excited about science is the first step in creating curiosity and eagerness to learn about it.

With these science lab coats, goggles, and name badges, I am going to prepare science kits for the two kindergarten classes. Each class will receive a "science box" sent by "Dr. Science" (aka me) addressed to their classroom, with these supplies as well as journals and materials for the first few experiments. The children are going to love it and be so excited to start science for the year (I have done this in previous years and have seen incredible excitement).

The laptop will help me as a teacher to find resources and activities, plan learning experiences, create slideshows, and organize content.
