This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My curious, bright students would benefit from a nice, new selection of Science Books! We are Blessed to have a wide variety of Science books in our Science classroom already, but many have become outdated, and worn. For example, some of our books about outer space, have Pluto listed as the 9th planet in our Solar System, (Poor Pluto!).
Our Science classroom library also has many books missing-which tells me that the children are actually taking some books, and that's a great discovery!
To keep the children in today's world of computers, and monitors, excited about books, is a wonderful thing! Please help me fill our Science book library with some up-to-date Science books, and colored pencils, so the children can write and illustrate what they learn from these books in their Science notebooks!
