Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These gifts will reach about 10 classes of various grades levels for the entire school year. The folders, for examples, will help my fifth graders organize their Science notes, draft ideas on science, file worksheets for safe keeping so to display their work on different occasions such as parent teacher conferences, open house or to self assess how far we have come from the beginning of the year to the end.

Putting ideas on paper is the beginning of transforming ideas into tangible object in the future.

I find that my scholars become more creative when they can develop ideas by writing and drawing. I also believe that each of them can become more organized if they have a place to put their paper and these papers will not get lost in their desk.

My students are always ready to do science and for this school year we will engage in more writing where they will create models of their investigations. They will also have the option to draw and label while he/she become more comfortable in writing. My students are enthusiastic earners and very willing to try their best.
