My preschool students are a creative, energetic, and curious group of 3, 4, and 5 year olds. They walk into school every morning excited to learn! Besides mastering academic skills, my students are growing socially and emotionally in a safe and caring classroom environment.
My 13 students come from the urban neighborhood surrounding our elementary school in Ohio.
My goal as their teacher is to help my young learners grow through projects and hands-on activities to provide the best learning experience for my students.
My Project
I am asking for donations to help purchase simple machine toys for my students to test and play with during our simple machine study. Science is an important part of my preschool classroom. My students are naturally curious about the world around them and love to explore and test their ideas. I would like to provide them with simple machine toys, like a pulley system, a ramp with different textures, and gears to explore in the science center.
My goal as a teacher is to introduce my students to new science experiences in the classroom to help them develop a love of learning and inquiry.
I am able to incorporate all subject areas into our science studies to maintain a high level of learning while also having fun!
