Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students have found a new passion. Science! They are very motivated to dive into research-based projects. Using technology as a research tool will help them focus and complete their projects.

My class is composed of energetic 4th and 5th graders.

They are working very hard to become independent readers and writers. Presently, my students are participating in several intervention programs to help them become successful learners. At this moment, science is their favorite subject. Currently our school is lacking the technology it should have.

My Project

My students need much guidance when it comes to completing assignments and projects. Having different tools in the classroom that they can use will motivate them to complete research projects. Allowing them to use a tablet to do some of their research will keep them engaged.

My goal is to provide my students with the tools they need to become great researchers.

I also feel it is important to teach them how to use the technological tools that are available today.
