Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students really enjoy exploring cause and effect. They’re inquisitive, and I love to challenge them to investigate why things happen! I would love to create a space in the classroom dedicated solely to STEM learning and related activities that they can explore with their peers during work time.

I am asking for an array of STEM materials such as gears, STEM kits, STEM Science Stations, Jumbo Magnetic Gears, Engineering a Coaster Kit, and more for my students to utilize in the designated STEM learning areas.

Materials like the magnetic gears will encourage students to develop their spatial relations skills by figuring out how to pair gears together in order to make them move.

We would love to add a dedicated shelf to keep all of the materials. We are also in need of a variety of tape which students use to bind things together as well as for measuring activities along with a few other classroom supplies. I am so excited to be able to provide my students with this new classroom learning area. Thank you in advance for your help in making our classroom wish list come to fruition.
