My Project

The items that I'm requesting will allow the students to work on a multitude of STEM projects. The goal of each of these projects is for the students to explore the topics of circuits, electricity, and hydraulics through fun and interactive projects. Some of the projects that we will be able to complete with these materials are the Hydraulic Judo Bot, Alliance Race Cars, Voltaic Batteries, and LED circuits.

The materials in this project will provide the opportunity for more students to work on the STEM projects planned this year.

The hot glue guns, masking tape, multimeters, white foam board, and Dremel drill press are the main tools that will be used for the projects listed above.

The wooden blocks and STEM syringe kits are the main materials needed for the Hydraulic Judo Bots. Through this project, students will explore and learn about the power of water.

The EUDAX Motor kits and foam boards are going to be used for the Alliance Race Cars. Through this project, students will use their cumulated knowledge to design basic race cars and overcome a multitude of challenges, such as speed, limiting the amount of weight of their cars, and setting time records.

The multimeters are going to be used in all projects involving volts, and amps. Students will be able to test whether their Voltaic batteries and LED circuits are functioning correctly as well as gathering data on what materials make the best battery.

These students have shown their proficiency in their general science knowledge through their academic evaluations. It is now time for them to take their knowledge and demonstrate it through these STEM Projects.
