My Project

Science is a subject students can become very passionate about if they are exposed to content in a way that is engaging and understandable. With the right materials, teachers can bring science experiences to the students. The students can question, test, and analyze concepts which leads to better understanding and deeper thinking.

There are a few key supplies we need to help provide these learning experiences for our students.

The alligator clips allow students to safely create and work with circuits. Batteries are always in need, from circuits to flashlights (for light energy). Foil is used for friction to compare with other surfaces that many of our students are not familiar with. Cotton balls and small bags make it easy for each student to grow their own plant and understand the basic needs of these living things. Highlighters are great to use with notes, diagrams, and other 2D representations.
