My Students

My group of students have passion, love learning, and are eager to come to class every day! It is truly a gift to work with such talented and wonderful students. In this magnet school, 75% of our students are bussed in, which means that I get a sampling of colorful diversity, imagination, interests, and capabilities. Every child brings unique hopes, goals, and opportunities with them as they enter the classroom door.

These students come to me to learn science and mathematics; however, I learn from them because I get to see the worlds they come from!

My Project

Students will use our classroom computer to research ways on how to protect the environment, learn about how the world around us works, and be able to answer questions that spark interests and can one day lead them to be world problem solvers.

Our classroom laptop will be used as a research station where students will conduct research, record their findings, and present it to their fellow classmates.

Students can then type out, write songs, make presentations on the very same device that allowed them to conduct their research. The possibilities are endless! Our high-tech computer will ignite minds, create ideas, and solve problems!
