My students need books about science to read and learn about insects, how things work, and the weather, which also ties into our Air and Weather science unit.
My students are made up of a diverse group of children with diverse economic, social, and ethnic backgrounds. I have many students who speak a second language at home that may be Spanish, Armenian, or an Asian language.
My students come from all walks of life, but they deserve an equal opportunity to have resources available to them for their education.
My school is a close-knit community with strong parent support, dedicated teachers, and has the child's interest in mind.
My Project
There is a big need for students to begin their interests in the sciences while they are young in order to guide them into science oriented careers in the future.
By donating to our project, you are not only investing in the future of my students, but the future of America!
My goal is to make my students more aware of the amazing things they can learn in science and to begin thinking about how they can have a future in science when they begin to think about their future careers. A great way to pique their interest is to supply them with a variety of reading titles about different subjects in science.
