This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are strong readers who are curious about science. I can never answer all of their questions. My students enjoy debating about topics that we read and learn about. They are great readers who need access quality texts to encourage our debates.
My Project
My students are very curious about the world around them. Whenever I teach science they ask endless questions and I realize that my kids have not enough access to quality science content.
Scholastic Super Science Magazine has been a high quality resource for providing science content for my students.
They are able to access the materials digitally and in print. Students will have articles, video, and activities every month to help keep them engaged for both in-person and remote learning.
