My Students

Each student of mine has experienced a difficulties that has led to their needing to repeat a grade. In our school our students find an accepting and encouraging experience.

Our school provides our students with a second chance to succeed.

Students are guided and taught so that they graduate and continue on a path of rehabilitation and success.

Our classroom is a warm place where all students are accepted and encouraged to move past their challenges to succeed.

My Project

Many of my students lack a basic exposure and connection to books. They have not experienced being read to, therefore they do not enjoy reading. Using these books my students will get to read about science in the world around them. The books are on a level that they will be able to read on their own and gain a basic knowledge about science in this world. My goal is that this will hopefully help them develop an interest in pursuing reading. Using these books will provide an opportunity for my students to read about science!
