Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Give this project a boost!
A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
Imagine the joy of being the first to attend your school. The first to use your desk, chair, and classroom. This is the case for the students in our school. Our school is the newest school in our district. But yet, we are missing many of our essential items.
Imagine having all the materials you need to enhance your daily learning.
Our students, who come from a diversity of backgrounds, will benefit greatly with the requested materials. Their learning will enhance because of your generosity.
My Project
The requested materials will have a great impact in our classroom because students will witness the concepts they read about in their lessons.
Students will not only read about electricity, they will build circuit boards.
Also, students will not have to only imagine the power of magnets, they can work with magnets and feel that invisible force. Students will also have visible models of hard to grasp concepts, like atoms and cells.
Having those materials in the classroom will help students understand what we, teachers, already know, and that is that all children are natural born scientists. With these materials, students will grow and keep that curiosity that all scientists possess, the curiosity to learn about our world and universe.
