My students need a laser printer, watercolor paper, rice paper, scissors, index dividers, colored pencils, post-it tabs, tape, file folders, mounting tape, and other materials to put together science projects that are creative and full of expression by using a color printer, art supplies--to make Science fun.

My Students

Our students--in one of the most isolated places in the United States--are preparing for their lives beyond our shores as explorers of new places. We want our students to apply their lessons by sharing their sense of being a citizen scientist and exchange ideas as scientific observers.

Fifth graders are curious, questioning, and interested in creating the examples of their understanding of Science.

They represent eager and ambitious students who are willing to collaborate and get along with teams to demonstrate what they learned. Our school is adapting to a growing population and, at times, struggling families but all of our students are eager to learn.

My Project

Our students will have an opportunity to print scientific reports in color and see the world beyond ours shores. They will have an opportunity to create masterpieces by using art to their posters and reports. The laser printer, watercolor paper, rice paper, scissors, index dividers, colored pencils, post-it tabs, tape, file folders, mounting tape, and other resources will enhance the drive and motivation of our students to produce beautiful examples of the data, information and knowledge that they have gained.

These donations will make a difference to our students because they will see a beautiful product from their research and experiments.

We will share our masterpieces of our scientific pieces in the Library for every grade level, in hopes to inspire other students to look at what they can do and perhaps even beyond to infinity.
