A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
This carbon dioxide detector will help me teach students about cell processes with hands on data collection. They can use it to determine when a plant is using it for either photosynthesis or cellular respiration.
One of the goals of this project is to provide them with a hands on opportunity to develop critical thinking skills by analyzing levels of carbon dioxide and how it relates to plants using this gas and releasing this gas during cell processes.
They collect data and analyze it to reach a scientific explanation that is possible.
