Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Give this project a boost!
A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
4th grade students are inquisitive, enthusiastic learners. They have mastered the basics in the primary grades and are ready to use their skills to learn more about the world around them.
The kids are back in school and they are more excited to see, experience and absorb knowledge than I've ever seen; especially in science!
My Project
"Generation Genius is a K-8 teaching resource that brings school science standards to life through fun and educational videos paired with lesson plans, activities, quizzes, reading material and more. Our videos are produced in partnership with the National Science Teaching Association, and aligned to standards in all 50 states." -Generation Genius Website
My students have a hunger for learning this year.
This resource would allow students access to incredible experiments both at school or home. Science vocabulary is always a weakness for our students. Not only does Generation Genius have vocabulary and reading resources, it also provides DIY experiments to accompany each lesson. A subscription to Generation Genius would impact my students' scientific knowledge in ways their text book simply cannot.
More than a third of students from low‑income households
