My Students

I remember when I was a kid that I used to love when the teacher took out games for students to play, when we won reward time. Do you remember that? I want to be able to do this for my students.

I have noticed that my students love playing games.

This is my fifth year teaching. Usually when we have reward time the students get to watch a movie or computer time. I thought it would be cool to fill my room with different Science or STEM board games to use as reward time. Games that students probably wouldn't be exposed to at home.

My students love playing games during lunch time, like connect four and checkers, so I think this will be a really cool reward and experience them.

My Project

These games will be a great motivator for my seventh grade students to put forth their best effort to achieve a board game reward day!! These games will expose them to different ways of thinking besides what they are used to on apps and computers.

With these games the students will be able to work together to solve different problems.

They will also be competing and having some fun while doing it. They work hard through every unit/chapter and the really deserve to have some fun like this. Any little bit you can donate would be greatly appreciated in order to make this happen.
