My Project

Beyond the potential scientific breakthroughs, learning science has individual benefits, such as developing our ability to ask questions, collect information, organize and test our ideas, solve problems, and apply what we know.

Science offers a powerful platform for building confidence, developing communication skills, and making sense of the world around us, a world increasingly shaped by science and technology.

Hands-on science encourages children to do something—observe, ask questions, touch, smell, and experiment. I am requesting the STEM Starter Kit Balloon Cars to challenge my students to create simple machines using the engineering design process. The Hand2Mind Magnetic Force, Science Lab Kit, lets students explore the science behind magnets. Students will learn the important concepts of magnetic force, levitation, and attraction as they race magnetic cars, build a maglev train and a working compass, and more.

Ms. Grist Horizon Science Academy - Youngstwn Grades 3-5

Celebrate Black teachers and kids! This project supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of students are Black.
