My Students
My students are amazing! We are a Title I school and many students do not have access to the supplies they need for in home science projects. This year we want them to be excited about science by becoming enthusiastic and engaged learners.

In my STEAM lab students are able to plan, create, and design. Through the use of play, students learn that the possibilities are endless. One class that I teach are students who are visually impaired, and need those hands on resources to explore, create, and watch their ideas come to life. The students showcase so much enthusiasm when they walk into the STEAM lab. Their enthusiasm is contagious, and want to bring that joy home. We are looking to bring back the fun of in-person learning by having personal lab coats for each student.
My Project
The past 18 months our students were at home working remotely. Science was through a computer screen. Now, we want to bring science back to life with excitement and enthusiasm!
Students will enter the STEAM lab and transform into scientists with their own personalized lab coats!
The lab coats will help them to transition from being in their classroom to being in the STEAM lab!
Our budding scientists love to engage in hands on exciting projects and these lab coats will enhance their social emotional growth and bring back their LOVE of learning in person!
