This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are amazing human beings! They are full of life and have endless potential to do so many wonderful things. My school is a Title I school in a poverty-stricken​ community.

Our school consists of a very large English language learner population.

All of our students receive free breakfast and free lunch. Many of our parents struggle to help meet the needs of school supplies and the needs of their children. Regardless of these circumstances, my students overcome! They are learning how to face challenges and grow stronger academically, socially, and emotionally, preparing them for the next level of life.

I believe that these students deserve every opportunity this world has to offer and I am determined to help them get it. These students can change the world with their brilliant minds and can climb out of the cycle of poverty through the gift of education. They will learn that the world is theirs for the taking with hard work, dedication, and knowledge.

My Project

This year I'm teaching science and my scientists and steminists are loving it. We have one big problem: we don't have the supplies needed to do these incredible science experiments and STEM challenges.

With your help, we can give my scientists and STEMinists the supplies to need to do all the experiments and challenges for this school year!

My scientists are about to learn: motion of objects, forms of energy, heat transfer, space, Earth structures, heredity and reproduction, and more over the next three quarters.

It's important for me to give my scientists and STEMinists hands on, authentic learning. With your help, we can create the next generation of scientists!
