My Project

Two years ago, I attended an virtual science experiment workshop with a really fun scientist, Steve Spangler. I created a project for the materials needed to complete some of his experiments with my students. Well, the experiments were a success!

Fast forward two years later and now I need to replace some of the materials needed for these science experiments.

Bouncing bubbles was one of the experiments that I completed with my students for the past two years. I make a bubble solution with dish soap, water, and glycerin. Each student receives a cotton glove, a container of bubble solution, and a pipette made into a bubble wand. As students blow bubbles, they are able to bounce them on their gloved hand play "catch" with a friend. It is so much fun to watch and hear the excitement in their voices!

The gloves, sandwich bags, and containers that I asked for will allow me to send the supplies home with my students for them to continue the fun with their families. The scissors give the students the opportunity to create bubble wands out of pipettes. The dry erase markers allow me to color code directions and observations for my students my students. I can't wait to complete this science experiment with my students again this year!
