This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Technology in education is everywhere and the expectations are high for students! My students are eager to explore and utilize technology in the classroom. They are motivated students that desire the basic skills in this vast, fast-evolving world of technology.

My innovative students are ready to prepare for their future!

They need the skills to utilize programs, apps, navigate the internet using technology. I believe in growth mindset and want my students to know they can make a difference in this world.

My Project

Students will explore how to incorporate technology into STEAM and project-based learning. They will use these skills to create visual representations of popular science topics around the world while expressing themselves through printed words and pictures. The Cricut will allow my students to art work that can be transferred onto their shirts so they can proudly wear them.

They will be able to design and create shirts to raise awareness for science.

With so many delicate issues on global warming, ocean acidification, coral bleaching and plastic in our oceans, students can transfer their #hashtage onto their shirts, i.e.,

#saveouroceans #bansingleuseplastic #saveouroceans.
