This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Science is often a subject that is overshadowed by reading and math. As a teacher that truly loves science I have started an after school Science Club to facilitate the love of science in many students.

Im a kindergarten teacher at KGCS.

Our school services Kindergarten-second grade students. With my time as a teacher I have noticed students show a love of science and exploring but that love often becomes overshadowed by literacy and math. By creating an after school science club I will be servicing the students who truly wish to develop their interest in science and exploration. Please help create early scientists!

My Project

The students that will be joining Science Club are looking to be challenged! They love to use their imagination, and explore their surroundings. My students need science goggles, science experiment kits, magnifying glasses, and measuring beakers. These materials I have requested will allow the students to complete weekly science experiments that will help stimulate their imagination and love of science.

My project will make a difference in the lives of many students by helping them develop their love of science and help them become explorers of the world around them.

Its time to make science a priority among young learners!
