My Students

Our students are the minds of the future. Furthermore, they come to us from many different backgrounds and needs. Our school is a Title I school with many children who receive a backpack of food for their weekend needs. They come to school eager to learn and are ready for any new challenge.

Our students are full of life and ready for a challenge.

Some students come from families that prepare them for college ready academics and some students need extra support to get them prepared and excited about future opportunities. Regardless of their families and backgrounds, I love the daily challenge to motivate and inspire them to be the achieve their absolute best!

My Project

Our students need these games, activities and supplies to support the state curriculum as well as provide plenty of after school self checking practice. Our students will be able to use the self checking VersaTiles books and cubes to practice grade specific math and science that is essential to success and growth. Students in our science club will feel like they are being productive while our coaches rotate working with kids. They can practice specific skills and get self checking verification on accuracy of their answers.

Your generous donation to our project will improve our science and math curriculum within our classrooms as well as enhance our after school program.Our science club after school is over flowing with eager students ready for a challenge in science and math.

Our coaches are looking forward to using these to support student growth in science and math. We have over 200 students in 4th and 5th grade and over 65 that stay after school for science club. They will be able to use these manipulatives during independent and small group time, learning centers and after school science and math club.

This will change our students' lives for the better. These materials will add to the enjoyment of our class lessons and curriculum. Any materials that enhance the education of our students, ultimately enhances their life and their experience with school. This will no doubt pique their interest in pursuing math and science further.
