This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are amazing! We have such a diversified population of general education, special education, and ELL students. Since the return from COVID, students were thrilled and excited to adapt to the school year of 2021. Students were excited to learn and explore. As a first-year science teacher, I want to continue using what I have done in my classrooms before, centers. Centers are such a wonderful way for ALL students to grow as a whole. Working in centers allows students to communicate, interact, learn social skills and build background knowledge. These materials will engage students and motivate them to learn in different styles! Rather than only being teacher-directed, students will have the opportunity to explore centers and share their learning with their peers.!
