I have a very enthusiastic, cheerful, and hard working group of 7 year olds who love to learn! Most of my class looped up with me from 1st grade but this year is a whole new year. They are learning how to navigate this digital, socially distant, and ever changing year we are learning in.
All of my students are leaders in the classroom, and they work hard each and every day using the seven habit not only the classroom, but the school as well.
I am a firm believer that my students will move mountains if we only give them to resources to do so.
My Project
I want to provide an environment where reading is integrated through all subject areas including Science.
These science trade books will not only help reinforce science content, it will also build a love of books and reading.
These trade books that will be used in my classroom will provide confidence for students within a fun and engaging environment. I will be able to use these books not only during science but also to reinforce science during reading stations. The purchase of the books would enable students to be excited about reading and learning science!
