Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Thank you for reading about our project. My students will be creating their own portfolios that will be used for recording regular academic goals. Students will set personal goals and record them in their binder. When they conference with me, they will often have their binder with them. They will also keep tests and work samples in the binder. This will be an ongoing project for the entire school year.

Students have always enjoyed this portfolio process and are very proud of their work.

The binders will help facilitate our spring conference model where students lead their own parent conferences in the spring.

We also are in need of basic classroom supplies for the school year. We need some items that support our Mystery Science experiments, like the owl pellets. These are standards aligned hands-on learning activities.

Also in this project are some arts and crafts supplies. These are just basic supplies that we really need right now.
