Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students love to learn about nature and our environment. I would love to add some materials for students to be able to engage with in a variety of ways. These resource kits will provide academic activities such as playing with magnets, learning about insects, sink and float, telescope and more! I love the idea of hands-on learning as well as trial and error. These experiences allow children to grasp a better understanding. Having these materials available in our Science Area will allow our students to freely engage as their curiosity prefers! My goal is to create a Science Area in the classroom that peaks the children's curiosity and encourages them to want to learn more. With this in mind, we are also asking for an iPad and headphones solely dedicated to the Science Area for students to research a variety of topics while exploring hands-on!
