My Project

Our class library has a good selection of wonderful fiction books- epic tales of imaginary adventures in wizard schools, humor books, chapter books, and kid friendly scary books. But there is something missing! We need some nonfiction books to help us with science and math this year! With books by National Geographic, students can dive into cool facts about animals, space, explorers, and science. Students can learn about how some famous things we use were actually accidental inventions! What does it takes to study? Students can learn about studying with a study skills book. Every morning, students can put their critical thinking skills to the test with daily practice warm-ups using science vocabulary! Need a refresher on multiplication facts? Students can use slider tools to help them practice.

Students can explore math and science using books and games to make their learning more fun!

With answer buzzers, students can have game show-like reviews in class of math and science. Know what 12 x 11 is? Students will have to tap the answer buzzer right away and say the product before another student! Students can dig into a STEM card deck and do a quick experiment if they finish early on class work. On those rainy/snowy indoor recess days, students can exercise their financial literacy skills with a game of Budget! They can practice their multiplication and division using Menu Math- a real world way to learn how money is used! Students can learn about what it costs to eat at a restaurant while practicing their math foundational knowledge! Order up for some amazing math and science time in the 4th grade this year!
