This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The students at our alternative high school have gone through tough life situations, failure, and rejection, but they still show up each day trying their best to complete their high school journey. A "traditional" classroom hasn't worked for them, so I try to provide them with class experiences where they group up, get up, and experience science by solving problems through project-based learning.

The majority of the requested material is for our physics classes and the study of fluid mechanics, specifically hydraulics.

The rest of the requested items are for our biology classes; we're bringing back dissections!
