My Project

My region of East Tennessee was hit by the hurricane and had flooding with damage across our region. This project to spread kindness through community service will be a project with my middle school classes. They will create school supplies kits for students across our region who lost so much during this heartbreaking time in our community. These will be delivered to schools in affected areas across our region.

Giving students a way to help and support their local community is so important to developing their character and learn how to help their community.

The students will also create cards to place in each school supply kit. With this project, we will be able to create 100 school supply kits to be donated to help those most. They will have useful supplies inside to help them feel ready to return to school and not have to worry about school supplies.
